Robin Hill Pool Free Swim Lessons (Session Three)
Beginner Level
Monday, July 3 through Friday, July 7
Noon to 1 p.m.
(weather permitting)
This five-day beginner swim lesson program is taught by certified lifeguards. The focus of the beginner level program is on water confidence and basic water safety skills. This program is designed for new swimmers and/or young swimmers.
Note: For this session, beginner lessons are available for children ages 4 and older.
Class size is limited to four swimmers per lifeguard (eight participants total).
Free swim lessons are underwritten by donations to the Robin Hill Community Support Foundation, a 501(c) 3 organization.

TUITION: There is no cost for these lessons.
CANCELLATIONS: Please call or email as soon as you know you have to cancel the lesson.
MAKE-UP LESSONS: No make-up lessons unless special circumstances.
SICKNESS: If your child is sick, please keep him/her at home.
RAIN: Classes are held rain or shine, unless there is lightning/thunder in the area or the temperature is too cool (generally, the temperature has to be above 75 degrees for the pool to open)
HAIR: Before entering pool, hair should be clipped back from the face securely and put into pony or pigtails, Bangs should be trimmed out of the eyes.
GOGGLES: Not recommended for beginners.
DRESS: Children should be dressed in their swimsuits at home. Bring a towel and in order to be effective, sunscreen should be applied at home at least 25 minutes before entering water.
POTTY TRAINING: Children who are not potty-trained for at least 6 months must wear swim diapers.
PARENT PARTICIPATION: Parents may assist (in the water) with their child's instruction.
PHOTOGRAPHS: Robin Hill Pool may use child(s) photographs in advertising or publicity.
This agreement acknowledges parental or guardian consent for the enrolled child to participate in swimming instruction at Robin Hill Pool. The named student has had a health examination within the current school year and his/her general health permits participation in water activities. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to determine with student’s medical doctor if medical condition contraindicates participation in the swimming program.
In consideration of permitting the above named student(s) to enroll in swim lessons at Robin Hill Pool, I hereby voluntary release, discharge, wage and relinquish any and all actions or causes of action for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death occurring as a result of engaging in said programs. I agree to indemnity and hold harmless Robin Hill Pool, their agents and employees against any and all liability for personal injury resulting from participation in the program.
I further understand and agree that my child(ren) must always be supervised whenever near or in the water. I understand and agree that these lessons do not imply or make any guarantee of water safety for my infant or child and that a responsible adult shall always supervise my child(ren).
I acknowledge that I am authorized and empowered to consent to this agreement, that I have fully read and understand the foregoing paragraphs and have been fully and completely advised of the potential danger incidental to engaging in swimming activities and am fully aware of the legal consequences of signing this instrument.
